I have today tried to contact NRMA Insurance, without success, in order to make a complaint about a serious Policy error, which has apparently been in place for the past 22 years. The error in question only came to my notice Friday of last week via my local NRMA Branch. Explanations provided by Branch staff have been completely unsatisfactory/unacceptable and absolutely absurd. Had I needed to make a 'total loss' claim during the past 22 years, I suspect my claim would have been denied, hence my level of anger is immense. I do possess NRMA documentation from 22 years ago, which totally validates my reason for complaint.

Having great trouble paying road side Insurance. Need more endurance!

Pay wouldn't let me pay. Wouldn't move. So phoned correct number twice n Heart health answered. Maybe not NRMA FAULT. Found another number

but too long a wait. Decided to write a cheque n that took a long time to find an address. So a snail mail will have to do.

I’m sorry I wouldn’t give them any stars

But they make you give them one !!

I’ve had a storm claims going for over

5 mths , still no closer to a decision.

I paid Cash for work done at my home and I didn’t have photos !! Declined

Took them 1 month. to send assessor !

Was given a settlement figure in morning and they retracted it the same afternoon. The consultant Gerrard I spoke to that afternoon actually laughed at me when I was so upset then told me he was going to cut me off and actually did. My phone was on speaker and the witnesses could not believe what they heard. It was escalated but they refused to reinstate amount offered. Said oh sorry for “Gerrard” rudeness and listened to tape and took ownership We have been with them for 40 years have had up to 13 policies at times 8 atm plus we get our green slips to be treated like dogs. They decline majority of claims now or give up part of quotation figure and plain rude. Loyalty counts for ZERO and thank you they say for your loyalty shame it isn’t certainly reciprocal. Never ever been spoken to so rudely and to be laughed at too after paying thousands sometimes per month. Disgrace def looking for another insurance company. How sad 40 years counts for ZERO you have to put a rating putting a one but should be zero. Disgusted

I have spent all day trying to speak to a real human person to get some advice. I have had no success Have just got off the phone for hanging on for 20 minutes in the hope of getting through to someone. No answer. I went onto chat and was getting automatic replies. It was dreadful. We have lots of policies with the NRMA and have been with them for years and we need help and can contact no-one. May be we need to go elsewhere where we get treated with respect.

I have now had the displeasure of been lied to by NRMA road service when my car broke down about two months ago, I was advised that the tow truck would arrive within one hour. More than three hours later it arrives. Yesterday the same thing happened when I was a passenger in my friends car, was quoted one hour, three and half hours later the tow truck arrived. I asked the tow truck driver, how long ago did NRMA book you, he said 25 Minutes. I said we have called many times, from three and half hours ago, he said, NRMA do what they want

Trying to communicate with a real person at NRMA is hopeless!

The corporate phone number seems ONLY focussed on selling insurance.

It is impossible to speak to an operator.

As an NRMA member I expect something more professional than this.

We were storm damaged on the 9th of February and are still having to deal with the ineptness of many, many different C/service consultants and no appointed singular case manager. The constant chasing up of NRMA appointed teams has been woeful! Incredulous beyond acceptance! They do not follow up with meeting the necessary required tasks. Our home is still in a huge mess and is a health issue with untreated mould and odour still lingering dangerously in our home, even still growing upon our identified mould damaged furniture that has not been removed. I have had to constantly call NRMA claims at least three times of each week since the 9th of February and have now racked up approximately 19-20 hrs on hold and in conversation repetitiously having to bring each C/Service consultant up to date... This makes me extremely depressed, teary and very frustrated with the lack of attention to detail by that of the NRMA teams and their processes. I am feeling that I am somewhat of a temporary employee of NRMA for all these weeks as I seem to be the only one following up on our claim, seeking and pleading for the help and works of NRMA, their appointed underpinning teams, such as Revival, Rizon, Remeed, and Restorex... I have been dealing with a total of five different teams under the banner of NRMA. Revival and Rizon have now met their required tasks, to our knowledge, but Remeed and Restorex are bouncing the ball back and forth... Please we need real serious measures to be met by which ever team and we needed it weeks ago!!

We have some real serious health issue's manifesting due to the prolonged neglect of NRMA's appointed teams, as well as the customer services claims department and their internal processes the demarcation lines of their external appointed companies meeting and fulfilling their responsibilities has been pretty much uneventful and I am totally feeling in despair. Please contact me on 0413863323 with your intentions on helping in meeting all outstanding responsibilities of NRMA and resolving finalising our claims.

Please show real compassion as we are truly struggling with medical issues, family death's and of course the corona virus has added it's burden as well.

Just awful to deal with. Call centre is overseas they are hopeless. Impossible to speak to anyone in Australia. Nobody makes contact in relation to claims. Not happy with NRMA at all!

A top facility. Many things are available including a nice food court and huge round garden.
