Hi Bunnings,

I just want to say thank you for standing up for Victorian conservation efforts by refusing to sell illegally logged Victorian timber. Like the trees you are saving I hope you can continue to stand tall, especially in the face of action by those with vested interest who would rather the forests continue to be illegally logged.



By not selling this timber, you are not only helping to save the high-conservation value forests that would have otherwise been logged and sold through your store, but you're creating important messaging that the entire Australian community needs to hear. Your action has helped mainstream Australia realise that there are environmental management problems in our native timber forestry industry, problems that need to be addressed. Thanks again for taking a stand.

A powerful step towards protecting wildlife and the important forest environment. Please do not give in to union and other pressure to reverse your stance on this matter.

 



I am writing in support of this morning’s action by timber workers at Bunnings Traralgon.

I am disgusted by Bunnings’ decision to stop selling Victorian hardwood timber and wood products whilst ramping up imports from overseas.

This disgraceful decision puts jobs and communities at risk.

Until this decision is reversed, I will not be shopping at Bunnings and will tell my family and community to take similar action.



Please pass on this message to management and Bunnings CEO Michael Schneider.

The first Bunnings del a few mths back was great. THIS one rang me re directions, kept me on the phone for awhile, when he left, checked my online docket, showed my signed name, i never signed this time, scary

Also not using my log on, as u give our info to other businesses, that box has to be checked, as i have had my card used fradulently i know have a new card, and have signed up with PAYPAL,

THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO HAVE MY CARD DETAILS which is great

Thank you Bunnings for your withdrawing timber sourced from our precious native forests from your range. This is a great move & encourages me to buy from your stores

Bunnings Cranbourne was more interested in stock taking yesterday (1/6/2020) than maintaining their own 1.5 m social distancing rules and 4 people per aisle. Bunnings staff just barged into aisles giving instructions to stock takers with zero regard for customers already in the aisles providing un unsafe environment for all.

i went to a bunnings store on saturday 30/05/2020 at rothwell qld to buy garden soil as i walked in to the store the same way i haved walled in many times before i walked passed the gard at door this person said i could not come in this way i cont into the store he pushed me man handle me (i am 64 years old ) i lost my thong this gard pushed me out side and said i was not allowed to get it so i went to get my thong he man handle me again then he through me out the entrance door i landed on my elbow no one from this store came to see if a 64 old man was ok the manager stood there a watched all because i walked in the wrong entrance which i have walked in a thousand times before there no signs exit or entrance on any of bunnings stores this makes me wonder did the gard use to much force and the store manager deb did nothing i just like to know if any person seen the gard though me please come forward to redcliffe police station what ever happed to the 1.5 m rule what ever happen to gards attacking customers what ever happen to the safety of customers at bunnings

I am a regular customer at Bunnings and I know we are all going through a very distressing time. I went to purchase a few items today and was busy looking for a latch, next minute a member of staff brought another customer to the area I was in and crowded around me with less than half a metre between us. I was so disgusted and upset with their social distancing that I immediately left the store. Surely the staff have a responsibility to allow for social distancing.
