I put no stars because Expedia deserves a very low rating. Your customer service is lacking, your representatives should be retrained and come up with a better line than due to COVID-19. How tiresome just like you folks at Expedia. Talk talk talk and no results customer satisfaction -0

Terrible service read below as to what my husband experienced y/day & again today:

I am talking to Expedia about the ticket change right now .... was on hold for over 3 hours ... no apology for the wait time.

She wanted to charge me $90 for the change ... I said look at your very own website: no change fees, look at Virgin's website: no change fees ... now I am on hold again while she calls Virgin to confirm there are no fees!!!! Unbelievable!

Not to mention I called Expedia yesterday and went through all this already, including them checking with Virgin, who confirmed there is no change fee -- don't they have a Notes section on their Kmart computer "system"!?

There was supposedly an I.T. problem with their system yesterday and she couldn't charge the correct cost for the changed flight. She said she had called I.T. and would call me back once system was fixed. No-one ever called me.

Right now, the rep came back online and told me the change fee is $81 and it's written in the conditions on their system or Virgin's or who knows what.

I said I want to speak to a manager - she said sure, there is 3-4 hours wait time to speak to a manager.

I used very forceful language and am now on hold while she sees "what she can do".

I will never again use Expedia - so disorganised and so unnecessarily cumbersome.

But the absolute worst thing was I had to listen to the same loop over and over and over, of distorted stressful guitar ploinking and piercing saxophone "music" ... this is their customer interface - this is really the best they can do as a company? ... something so basic ... even on the lowest volume setting on my phone it is so annoying and piercing ... I'm forced to listen to it again right now while on hold again - arrrrggghhh!

Expedia's Manager of Customer Service is obviously incompetent, in all areas.

Latest development: They just dropped the line on me, call ended. 3 hours and 45 minutes completely wasted, without any result.

I cancelled my entire booking which I booked a package through Expedia. They have not credited $3695 to my account after hours and hours on the phone and endless hang up. Infuriating shocking customer service!!!

Zero. Bad Customer Service. Tried on 14 July,2021 to cancel a booking made through wotif.com. Booking made on 20 March,2021, 72074771449429. I tried many times on that day to what appears to be NO AVAIL. Called Pacific Bay Resort Coffs Harbour, they could not take the cancellation. Tonight called the 1800229825 number, after some time, I was to be transferred to another Dept, was cut off, call ceased. I waited before hanging up on my phone just in case, no response. I am not impressed, and not a very ethical way to make money and treat customers. Never will I book through this organisation again.

Impossible to speak to an agent . Option 3 - speak to an agent re existing booking phone just drops out. Trying to sort out a problem from 21st November with customer service team and I fly out in under 2 weeks . Managers promising to ring back and send emails buynothing received. Not good enough. I have wasted hours and now told today another 5-10 days to listen to all recordings and then get back to me which from experience shows me nothing will happen. Very disappointed and frustrated in trying to sort out a simple problem where I have been downgraded from premium ecenomy to economy on my return trip from Berlin to Sydney on 1st February 2022
