My son was hired at the beginning of July this year by the Bligh Park McDonalds. He has had a total of 5 shifts up to now, going weeks without being given a shift. He knows of another person that was hired about 4 weeks ago and he has not had a single shift. Yet they are on facebook advertising as hiring as of yesterday? I really hope this is not the way all stores manage their staff. These young kids are applying for jobs because they are at the age where they have both responsibilities and goals that require paid work. Employing anyone and not providing them with shifts for weeks at a time is not morally right. I hope someone of authority reads this review and takes some action. Very frustrated!

McDonald’s Armidale is the worst McDonald’s I have ever experienced. Bad management, cold food and managers blaming customers. Need to be shut down. Only local McDonald’s and I refuse to go back.

I went through drive through at rouse hill village McDonald’s and ordered than at the next window the lady said the payment didn’t go through so she made me go all the way through drive through again she couldn’t just take my payment there

Anyway I went and paid and it was all good than I get home and the order is incorrect so I sent my Roomate to pick up our other half of the order. They asked for a receipt which I didn’t have because the lady at the drive through window never offered me one or even mentioned it. It’s ridiculous I’m not a fan of their service they not friendly at all I’m in customer service and that’s not customer service.

The service by the manager Sarah at McDonalds at St Martins Villiage in Blacktown was ridiculously poor. She did not care to wear a mask over her nose and mouth nor about the time it took to give me my food. Even though they servered 20 cars through drive thru. By yhe time i got my food my coffee was cold and when i complained to her all i got in return was are well with her back turned. She should be sacked

i tried sending an email of complaint to the email address at Thornleigh to David and it bounced back. Yet another epic fail by McDonalds

Not only that keep been cutoff by the drive through staff, they have poor hygine too as i was told i had to wait outside near the drive through door i could clearly see the staff and kiction, the girl making the drinks droped stuff on the floor and picked it up with gloves on then went back making drinks and touching benches, your floors are dirty and discusting yet your staff do nasty stuff like this? When i looked at her she dident even care this store, manager and staff are pathic

My family and I have not been in Australia a long time and have no family here. A few years ago we visited the Augustine Heights store and meet the delightful Nan Mac. She immediately greeted us and made us feel welcome, over the years we have enjoyed coming in to the store and learning from her experiences just what service means to her and how to teach it. We have a small business and asked Nana Mac if she would come over to the store to talk to our young staff about customer service. Obviously she thanked us but declined. Nana is very loyal to her store. My son was old enough to get his first job and wanted to work for your company so he sent his resume in and has secured a casual position at the Camira store, were Nana now works. We as parents are thrilled that he secured a position but more so that it is the same store the nana works at. I wanted to take this moment to write that Nana Mac is the best ambassador for not only how to successfully demonstrate the real meaning of Customer Service she also is a great as ambassador for the McDonalds brand. In our area postcode 4300 she has built quite a large following and is very popular. I hope that this letter is received in the manner that it was intended which was to thank McDonalds for recognising the value of employing experienced older staff.

We now have become regulars visitors to the Camira store and love it.

Kind regards

Mrs Varghese

Ordered cappuccino at McDonalds Caboolture this morning. Number called 2 coffees sitting on the counter. I hand over my number & ask the girl which one is mine. She looks at me in amazement and randomly chooses one. Get to the car & it's stone cold! Hopeless :(

Dear Team,

I am writing this because it still affects me to this date and hope this review will change the training of your managers and staff. I was a casual employee at South Oakleigh McDonald's. I was hired during university holidays, thus I was able to 24/7. As soon as university started, I informed my manager I was unable to work overnight shifts on weekdays due to my morning classes. She approved and told me to change my availabilities on the online system. As soon as i did, she still rostered me on for overnights. I reminded her and she told me to get people to cover my shifts. This happened for another 2 weeks. After constantly reminding her and getting people to cover my shifts, I was sent an email stating I was terminated for being unable to work minimum 10 hours, as required from a part time employee.

This was not my fault. I was rostered the shifts I was unable to work after changing my availabilities and constantly reminding my manager. It affected my mental health greatly, I tried to communicate with the store but received no understanding and rude replies. Whenever I think of my time there i get extremely anxious. The older I become, the more I realise this was unfair dismissal. If I had known this knowledge earlier, I would have pursued this matter with Fair Work. I also wrote a complaint and was never contacted or reached out.

To anyone else reading this, do not be afraid of your managers, stand up for yourself and do not allow yourself to be bullied or feel incompetent. You should never suffer from anxiety or poor mental health due to your workplace. This should not be normalised.

We went through the drive through on the m4 motorway this afternoon. firstly the girl started taking our order as normal, then said “hold on”. she left Us there waiting for a good 5 minutes while she done god knows what. then after we heard her taking another order for A new car that pulled up in the other lane Next to us well and truely after us and after asking us what we would like and then disappearing. my husband and kids got annoyed and said to each other a remark about her forgetting us, she then yelled through the speaker at my family mid way through their conversation “WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU SAY ABOUT ME, I WILL NOT TAKE YOUR ORDER” now I get some people have mental Health issues and I’m sorry for that but she scared my 3 year old to tears, put my husband and other son in a horrible mood and left me wondering what kind of unprofessional, untrained people you have working there. I then went to the window and asked for her name I was rudely told in another loud angry voice “I wasn’t the one who took your order” and apparently she didn’t know who did. Very aggressive, rude, and crazy staff taking the orders there.
