Just received my online order but the box is damaged. Hard to believe it was posted with no proper packaging eg bubble wrap. Just a Myer bag wrapped around. Even a recent $50 order from Chemist Warehouse was properly packaged. I haven't opened the box out of concern that the electrical item will be damaged. Now I have to try and return during Melbourne's lockdown. What a sad state for a once great store.

The customer service at Myer is horrendous. I wanted to purchase an item online but couldn't use the two gift credit cards, called customer service so that I could do this online, but they couldn't do it.. really??? How hard is it to process a payment using two cards which could easily be done if I had purchased the item instore? So, I used another credit card and purchased the item. It arrived a week later with crucial parts missing. Rang the incompetent customer service who told me it was a 'bulk' item and thus had to go via another customer service channel, all conveniently online with no phone number to actually talk to a person. They have emailed me informing me that the item was not from Myer but from the supplier and they would refer all correspondence to the supplier, and 'see' if a refund may be forthcoming. I am appalled at this apathetic and unethical business practice. I purchased the item from Myer with the confidence of good quality and good support, none of which are evident. And now I have been fobbed off to the supplier??? My time is wasted chasing all this up and I feel I should, not only get the refund, but receive compensation for the ultimate runaround from the great Myer Store.

I have attempted to call Customer service 3 times and waited almost an hour each time before I hung up! Once again, a parcel goes missing and I can't get anyone to tell me where it is! Courier company say insufficient detail on address" yet the info I provided was clear and complete. This experience has reminded me as to why I haven't purchased anything from Myer for 10 years....nothing has changed. Only bought this item because it was the only place that had this size in stock! Never again!!

Tried calling the Sydney CBD store as I left a package behind at the YSL counter. there is a recorded message and then it the call is just terminated. tried calling the 136937 number and after 36 minutes of waitingI recalled different options as the "in store experience" people were not answering at all and got someone on the credit card option but he was in the Philippines........... of no use. Try answering your phone Myers it may be important to your customers! I would prefer to give a negative star rating but your system will not accept my comments.

I order a lot of stuff from Myer online. Never had a problem until a broken item. Three emails and an hour wasted listening to terrible music I gave up with their customer service department. I tried calling the nearest store to me, evidently the Store Manager was not in that day, nor was the Assistant Manager. I find that very strange. Eventually ended up talking to the Lancome Sales Associate who was helpful, told me what I needed to bring in and apologized for the trouble I was having.



However, the point is I didn't particularly want to travel to my nearest store. I wanted it delivered but no one else would help me.



Why do these stores talk about customer service and how great it is shopping online. They can't provide any customer help when it's needed. After the thousands of dollars I have spent at Myer I will be looking elsewhere to make purchases.

If I could give less I would on customer service replies from head office.......... The reason for this is I'm still waiting for a reply from an email I sent on 18th Nov.

It's a shame that head office staff aren't as helpful as the staff encountered in stores all over the country.

Very disappointed, first time I've had to contact them. Thought the ratings were incorrect until I've had to use them. Never usually submit unless it's a good rating.

I guess its obvious no-one cares as something would have been done about it. i.e. management should be checking ratings and fixing it!!

Myer contact is impossible to get through on the phone and no reply to emails.

Rang the Northland store were I purchased the good 7 times and rang out each time. Phoned head office yesterday on hold for 25 minutes and today so far 40 minutes. I would not recommend purchasing anything for delivery as when things don't work properly you get no help.

After many attempts to contact Myer as per my previous post finally had to go to a store to sort out my order. It turned out they could only supply half the order and would not supply the one they had on display even though the item was not available from Phillips until next year.

Well the good news the one still on order arrived today and when I opened the outer box I discovered that the NEW cooker was a returned item.

It had scratch's on the top and the book was damaged.

I give up and will never order from Myer again.

I wish I have seen these reveiws on this website. I would not have ordered online. What a nightmare? In my case, between Myer and the frieght company, they claimed I have accepted the parcel, when I didn't receive it. I have been calling and emailing to for last 10 days with no resolution. Today the 13 69 37 number had a recorded message to say it's switched off!!! I am so disappointed with this experience. I had been a loyal Myer customer for 20 years.

I purchased a Philips Airfryer online. When received, the box had been tampered with and retaped with regular sticky tape. I opened the airfryer, even though it was a gift to find the Air fryer upside down in the box with no packaging, no warranty paperwork, no instruction booklet and a dent in the base. I have now been on hold with Myer for a total of 65 minutes waiting to speak to someone (two seperate phone calls). This is not what I expect from Myer. They would have seen the box had been tampered with. The Myer box it was received in was in perfect condition. Not happy Jan! In the meantime, I am remaining on hold and getting crankier and crankier.
