Possibly the worst customer service around a faulty item that I have ever experienced, it seems like the counter staff are unequipped to make a decision around replacement items or warranty claims.

What they say is not what they do.

There are plenty of tool stores you don't need a Sydney Tools experience.

Now that i'm getting miffed its been ongoing since Jan 22 they don't respond to emails. SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE

I PURCHASED EGO LAWNMOWER BACK ON 9/5 HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY COMMUNICATION FROM ANYONE AT SYDNEY TOOLS THIS IS AN EXTREMLEY

POORLY RUN COMPANY FROM THE TOP ALL THE WAY DOWN THE FOOD CHAIN I WOULD STRONGLT RECOMMEND NEVER DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN

Walked into the shop and the guys says "hello Missus". I have 2 trades and asked a valid question about a new tool I was shopping for. he then shows me the crappest, cheapest looking tools right down the back. He was so rude. what a joke. going elsewhere.

Ordered tools that were advertised on the site. 2 weeks later I am still waiting. Rang up to find 2 out of three are at their shop, waiting on a 3/8 to 1/2 inch adapter that you can get near anywhere. Three weeks before I get what I ordered. I get things from the other side of Australia in 4 days!!!! Do not deal with these fools!!

Went to Sydney tools west Gosford . Bought 3 things . Wrench that had a ticket for $29.00 sockets $35.00 and another set of sockets that had no tickets . I get to the counter and the wrench scanned at $39.00 the first socket scanned at $49.00 and the other sockets $65.00 . I said to the team member that they have scanned different to the price on the shelf and his response was that head office have told him as long as it scans at the price in the system that that is ok . I said why wouldn’t the tickets be changed over he said they don’t have time for this . I got home and called head office and the lady said she would get a manager from head office to call me . It’s now 5.00 pm with zero response .

Do not shop at Sydney tools the worst refund policy ever go to Total tools

Worst company iv ever dealt with. NEVER call back. will not honnor warranty even when you return the tool and its deemed fualty they lie to you for months making excuses for not having processed the refund! 5 months and still no refund on my tool and they have the fualty tool! Every time im told they have submitted the paperwork nothing happens then next time i get told the same lie "the person dealing with your return left" or "the paperwork was submitted wrong" over and over. no call backs. i go into the store and same excuses. I want my damn money back!

You need to get some staff at the Port Macquarie shop that are capable and know how to do customer service. I went in to the Port Macquarie store on Sunday19th March to spend a voucher. I wanted a floor jack that they at first told me they had in stock but 45 minutes later I was told they couldn't find it but they could get me one from another store BUT I had to pay the freight!!!! After some discussion they decided to discount the jack so the cost of the freight was included in the price. They were to call me Monday 20th March 2022. Today, Thursday 24th March 2022 after not hearing from them I rang and spoke to a man who told me they had done nothing because they needed to do a purchase request in my name. I asked firstly why no one had called he had no answer but the next sentence was a cracker...We (Sydney Tools) can't just order tools you know!!! WTF

Bought a magnetic drill, the magnetics failed and nearly broke my sons arm - they took it and sent to head office - i needed this drill for a job i was doing that day so bought a another one while waiting for the faulty one to get fixed. (mind you the faulty one only drilled 2 holes) -

8 weeks later, i am still waiting for a refund - I have been told it is faulty, then another sales rep said it was being fixed, 3 times I have left messages and no one gets back to me - follow up customer service is ATROCIOUS.

Its been 8 weeks with no resolution -

Sydney Tools avoid this Company and in particular the Nth Parramatta store like Covid 19. If you want to contract incompetence deal with Sydney Tools. Keep your hard earned money for a Company that delivers on time all of the time. These clowns belong in a circus. The sooner this Company does the way of the Dodo the better!!!
