Facebook is a joke of a company.

They are 100% anticompetitive.

This huge multinational conglomerate has repeatedly removed and restricted my business account for no reason.

This horrible company should be banned from Australia and forced to pay a massive fine.

With possible jail time for complicit executives.

More info in my issue: So the first two times my Facebook business profiles were taken down (linked to a real profile I set up), because they were both reported by someone apparently.

Both of these personal profiles with along with everything else connected to them (each page, group, and profile) were removed. Except you can still see the groups and their hyperlinks, although I could not use the URLs anymore on the new accounts though, which I had allocated to each group/page when I set them up; before being removed by Facebook.

I had not done anything in terms of violating Facebook's policy. I would not do anything to violate the policy, purely for the sake of my business. I would not do anything to jeopardise these accounts.

Facebook would not tell me what I did wrong, because both times these were reported “anonymously”.

Both times a business account was set up and linked to my registered ABN, with all the correct information Facebook had requested.

So this time I used my personal phone number to register my personal account, instead of my business mobile number.

So for the third time I established my business account, personal profile, page, and group all over again.

This time my account stayed active for about a week, so I assumed it was fine to start using. I asked the admins of a group if I was allowed to join and they said it was okay. So I joined. I liked a couple of posts and commented one supportive comment about something someone had found, to which they liked my comment, then I went to bed.

When I logged into the account the next day (24/09/2020), I received this message at 11:00 AM: https://ibb.co/3y9fk9L - Image 1

So I clicked on one of the notices and got this: https://ibb.co/wBqSz5K - Image 2

Then I clicked Learn More and got this: https://ibb.co/xjHGByV - Image 3

Then I went back and pressed appeal (after not doing anything wrong to breach Facebook T&C's) and got this: https://ibb.co/Qbqdsfc - Image 4

Even though Facebook gives me the option to submit an appeal but states that it will not review my appeal, I put one in anyway.

Fast forward to tonight, I was on my personal phone to my friend; excitably explaining to him that I was able to post to my own group again tomorrow, which it is just me in the group.

Less than an hour later I logged into my account and got this: https://ibb.co/MCd9rbk - Image 5

I thought my account would be deleted here because this is the same message I have got the past two times; after Facebook requested my driver’s licence, where my account was "removed" very shortly after submitting it.

Although this time it asked for my phone number and sent me a code, which I entered correctly: https://ibb.co/3kqwmND - Image 6

Then got this: https://ibb.co/R40SqS8 - Image 7

So because they already have my licence, I submitted a very clear image of my licence photo. I did not have a Facebook account before this, and Facebook does not have any other pictures of me. Therefore I thought this would be the best photo to compare to and verify my identity against. So I did: https://ibb.co/6J9NVgr - Image 8

Then I got this message: https://ibb.co/p3Vrfzn - Image 9

My account is most likely going to stay disabled now.

The excuse provided by Facebook is very similar to this one I got after I attempted to appeal my account suspension: https://ibb.co/Qbqdsfc - Image 4

^ Where Facebook states that it cannot review my appeal because of COVID-19 reasons. Even though it asks for one.

I kept getting notifications to pay for an advertisement but did not want to have to pay for this, so I did not.

I'm sure this is happening because I am not paying them any money.

This action by Facebook is 100% anticompetitive.

Facebook has even stated in retaliation to new media laws brought in by our country, that there will be consequences for this country and our people.

I am a young person just trying to establish my business and this is what they are doing to me.

My Instagram is working okay, although I had a few issues recently and complained to the help team. Which they replied it should be working well now, with no other explanations?

Has anyone else got any experience with this?

It is getting me really down.

I do not know what else to do?

All my local business have social media accounts and after speaking with the people operating these businesses, they have all stated that social media accounts are essential to attracting customers and expanding.

If anyone could please help or provide any information about a similar issue it would be of great assistance. Thank you!

This company is nothing more than a cancer in society.. power hungry controlling idiots with no social understanding. Greed motivated by money.

 by Nunya Biz

People get their accounts banned becuase someone gets butthurt because they are called out on their racist views and claim being bullied and yet when you challenge it Facebook won't respond. Talk about dictatorship and poor business practice.

They disabled my account without cause, and now I have no way of keeping in contact with most of my friends and family.

I suspect I was targeted by Facebook staff for having autism.

Facebook are a Corporate entity who uphold the internal corporate belief that one countries standards are the same as another, this is in fact totally incorrect, so using moderators from Iran or China to moderate content produced on the newsfeeds of persons on Facebook in Australia is an elaborate misconception, finding information directed to an English speaking person presented in Chinese, Arabic, Iranian, Indonesian is actually flouting Australian Discrimination Legislation in all states and territories.

You so self infused intellectuals are so out of touch with your own self inflated actual intelligence levels that you help FB operate on a unrealistic platform of of overpaid and over regarded staff on most levels from the very top being Mark Zuckerberg down, fading off at general building svce levels

I'm finding more and more that FB is accepting serious flaws in its operations as a conscientious social media provider, that it is now precariously becoming an imbalance which may see it fall in degradation.

You need a lot more commonsense involved in Facebook and a better system of Algorithms, because currently, the moderator standards, the corporate operational standards, and its social media admin standards are out of whack with reality.

A good step to take, would be the intervention of your so called technological achievement in the removal of the most literary abusive program "Spellchecker", a outdated and useless process, invented by a man who died leaving behind a self protective Algorithm that is a literary dunce.

I'm 72 yrs old, I have a near perfect life memory, a very high IQ, my mind operates on a highly intellectual level, at which I take fools non lightly, as I see it at present FB Corporate has many indistinguished fools who ride the wings of info Tech expertise,

Put this information I've sent to you all at FB and have a giggle at it over lunch, then turn around and look at each other seriously, for you will have created another flaw in how you all operate.

I won't that K you for your time, that's what your being paid for, incl Mr arrogant MZ.

I think face book is full of shit you can't post any thing or say anything that is politically correct it not only me that has been blocked quite a few times but so has many others on Facebook as well i think that Facebook only wants to put on what they want to put on and another thing with Facebook they put on too much ads the people their who work in Facebook are totally a bunch of morons and dickheads if it keeps going a lot of people will leave Facebook and i hope that Facebook will lose business Facebook is fo the young cry babies not for the baby boomers or anyone in my age group that was born in the 70s 80s and 90s so Facebook dont you like political correctness

What a disgraceful and bullying company if it does not get its own way. You are not entitled to the world and you should pay for media content that you yourselves have not created, but reposted for users. Grow up and you can tell your superiors this. What a bunch of self centered brats.
