What an absolute circus!! I have been trying to obtain a bill for over 6 months now - even though I'm on a monthly billing cycle which is meant to be emailed to me. The offshore call centre for billing is a joke - every time I have called (and it has been multiple times) I've been given a different story as to why they can't generate a bill. I ended up calling customer service - they promised to call me back - of course they didn't. When I tried to call them back I'm getting a recorded message stating that their office is closed - it has been 3 days now. In desperation I called the billing number and selected option 5 which is for those customers wanting to leave or change their plan - surprise, surprise - I got someone in the customer service department who fobbed me off to the billing team. The fact that you can't escalate to a Manager of any sort is ridiculous. Pathetic service all round.
This company would have to be the most incompetent energy company of all time.
My sister has a terminal illness. I have been shunted from pillar to post with regard to transferring her account to my name and getting her a refund of the excess in her account.
Have sent paperwork, and made many phone calls. There is no one in management one can contact.
There is problem with the Gas reading in the building, as my gas meter inside my apartment is perfectly fine. Alinta send me the bill with wrong meter reading which is way too high. When I called them to fix it they ask me arrange the plumber or electrician by myself. Why should I pay for technician when it’s not my fault. Very disappointed with there service. Its high time now I need to change the supplier. Bcos it’s not happening first time. My usage is 125 and they charging me for 715. Horrible 😡😡😡
Oh dear everything wrong about this company especially there billing system
It’s just a damn headache just put the total and due date on top of invoice not in the middle of all the other confusing previous balance, payment received, balance brought forward my eyes getting tired trying to find what is actually owing
Apart from one issue about the connection, they proactively fixed it. My 2nd bill came few days ago.
