I recently had a difficult confrontation with a young female member of Fitness First that insisted that her need to use a machine that I was on, was greater than mine. She proceeded to strip the weights from the machine whilst I was in the process of using it! I told her several times to go away and see the front desk if she had a problem with being denied sharing equipment whilst health orders are in place to keep 1.5 distance and clean equipment down after use. Obviously something that can't be done if you're sharing equipment.
She was was persistent to say the least. Long story short, the manager Jamima Abdul had my membership cancelled along with the threat to not set foot in any FF club. Apparently I was deemed the aggressor. Go figure! 45 years of training PT qualified and 15 years at FF , I get the bullet whilst the aggressive young girl imbued with her self entitlement will get to continue her bad manners. Certainly a "FAIL!" from me. And whilst i'm at it, broken bathroom taps, dirty toilets, untidy change rooms , broken equipment that stay that way for weeks on end just the icing on the cake really! Oh! And regardless of my request to view the cctv footage I was told that I am not privy to it.
Fitness first just ripping off with the cancellation fee. Staff is very unhelpful, unempathic. The customer service is extremely poor and unfriendly. They are rude and don't bother replying on the emails. Stay away from Fitness First Malvern Valley and other Fitness First centres. They trap the customer in without giving any information. And they charge extremely high cancellation fee. I am very disappointed with the gym. Will bever recommend to anyone.

Today I have been denied access to the fitness first Pitt Street Club.
As per entry requirement displayed at the entrance, a body temperature check is required.
I allowed a body temperature check anywhere except for my head, to the staff.
The staff (Chris, he didn't want to give me his last name) insisted that body temperature check had to be done on the forehead, even if not written anywhere.
Staff denied access and threatened me to call security if I would access the club.
I requested to the staff a signed paper specifying the access denial for the reason above.
I've been a Fitness First member for 13 years and I've never been treated this way for nonsense reasons.
Also I can' use steam sauna and dry sauna, that made me choose FF 13 years ago, but still paying the same fee.
I just suspended my membership and thinking seriously of cancelling it if things don't change.
Had my Mares mask + snorkel stolen from the side of the pool in front of Sauna #1 while I was in the sauna at Pitt Street location. The date of the theft is Wednesday, Jan 20th btwn 12:15-1pm. I reported it immediately to the front desk and filled the "Incident Report" stating details of the theft. After numerous follow ups, f was able to get hold of the location manager on Thursday, January 28th, who agreed to set some time aside to review the cctv footage to determine which club member committed the theft and advise me on the further steps. Have not heard back. Emailed the club and also corporate, however, no actions taken on the part of FF as of yet. Seems the tactic in general here is to slightly side with a thieve. The club and corporate are protecting and harbouring the thieve...
Thanks china!!! I've canceled my membership due to the stupid policy of not accepting money due the BS chinese bat flu virus. May I remind FF that money is legal tender. I boycott any companies that capitulate to these BS NWO Globalist Idiots.

The problem with BS FF they don't listen to customer complaints. They just ignore people who have a complaint and in doing so loses very good loyal customers. A very dumb move indeed coming from FF. I see now there reverting to censoring comments they don't agree with. It's so pathetic it's not funny. Boycott FF wankers big time.

But itβs always GYM Direct Debits I told my son do not give a Gym your bsb & Account number ,, sure enough $2000+ later he cancelled his membership he wasnβt locked in to an actual time period this was in 2018 Fitness First Hocking WA he had it for 6 months or so cancelled as he moved to NSW β¦and never checked his account until now 2021 & they have continually been taking out his membership. They wonβt refund the $2000 + as they say we havenβt got your cancellation here..he said I came in on my last day and cancelled it!!! After a covid scare at mermaid waters FF on the 2.12,i would like to remind you as a business you need to do more, there was an active case in the centre and unfortuntaly i attended, i was not contacted untill day 10, i work at a hospital and would hate to think of the terrible outcome if i tested positive. You have at least 4 staff behind the counter doing alot of talking and not much else.Why cant these staff take peoples temp, at least that might deter people coming in sick, ive just spent two wasted days waiting for my results , let alone worrying if i got a postive result.
Had a dreadful experience with the male receptionist at your Randwick gym today around midday. There appeared to be an issue with my sons membership. I asked to see the manager to resolve the issue. The male receptionist blankly refused. No explanation just arrogantly continued to refuse. I asked if he was the manager and then I asked Him for his name. Just refused. Very arrogant and disdainful behaviour. I felt totally embarrassed and denigrated In front of my son and other customers coming in. I am horrified that a gym with such a high profile in the community has this person in its employ.
