Qantas stop focusing on cheap flights and worthless promotions and make it easier to get a refund or re-book flights whatever the customer wants. You have failed miserably during COVID19. As far as I am concerned you have stolen my money.

Qantas is most arrogant and hypocritical company in the world with a terrible customer service. It not adviced passenger about new check in requirements for Thailand flights( Covid 19 test). The boarding was denied and as I asked the qantas supervisor about my passengers rights, he ordered me in a boorish manner to leave qantas area. You have to be the last idiot to deal again with a company that hypocritically calls itself "spirit of Australia"

Well since we were in Sydney getting off a cruise and staying in Sydney and the virus out break started we changed our plans and everyone, hotel, tours and another airline gave us our money back. Only Qantas would not give us a travel wavier even thou it was not our fault it was serious virus.

While I understand airlines are getting hammered at the moment with current flight enquires due to Corona it does not excuse the fact that people who have a flight later in year have absolutely nowhere to go with their enquires. There is absolute no links on the Qantas site.

I need to cancel a flight I booked late September using points that due to the current situation I need to speak to someone about cancelling.

Just not good enough Qantas!

Absolute WORST customer service. In what world is it okay to keep customers on hold for over 3 hours?!?!! I began calling them over a week in advance of my flight because I needed to change it due to COVID-19. Each time I called, /i got a recording saying the wait time would be from 1.5-2.3 hours and Qantas recommends that if your flight is not in the next 24 hours, you hang up and call another time. I tried every day, at different times, for a week and got same recording. The day before my flight, I was upgraded based on a bid I made. That day, I had to stay on the line to contact them and was on hold for over 3 hours. Qantas then refused to refund the upgrade money. They then wanted my to pay $420 (USD) to change my ticket and I knew I could buy a new one way ticket for $20 more....unbelievable!! I told her that was NOT going to happen because if I was able to get through earlier in the week then prices would be much less. She argued with me but I had exact amounts and dates of flights to show her she was wrong. I also explained to them that if they had proper phone support then I never would have been charged the upgrade fees because I would have changed the ticket BEFORE they approved the upgrade. They then said the only way for me to try to get a refund of the upgrade money was to fill out a customer service form on their website. I did that 3 WEEKS AGO and still have had NO RESPONSE even though they say they will respond within 14 days. I then had to change my flight again because of COVID-19 and this time I was on hold for over 2.5 hours and they wanted to charge me $280 USD. I again explained that I cannot return to where I live because of the virus but they say it does not matter because I am making a "voluntary" change. Unfortunately, I again need to change my ticket because of the same situation and I fear contacting them. It is so infuriating dealing with a company that obviously does not care about customer service. My advice is to find another company to use.

Dear Qantas, after a death in my family I asked for a ticket refund because I could not travel at that time.

I cannot express how abysmal my experience has been in trying to get the refund. After literally many many hours on the phone and SMS I finally got an assurance in broken English that I would receive the refund by February 5th at the latest. I am still waiting....

I have been trying to get money refunded from my Travel Money Card for over 5 weeks now, I gave the correct account and they added a zero on the end, so my money is in limbo, and they are not doing anything about it, plus it is quite a good sum. I am the one chasing them no return emails, or calls. Pity really, so much for being loyal to the local airline. My previous transfers have gone through with no problems. Now going to take legal action.

I have emailed,called and even tried Twitter. My family of 7 is trying to purchase tickets for a cruise to New Zealand and Australia. I have gotten 0 response for 2 weeks.

How do they stay in business?
