I am having issues with my GLB 250 and have done for over 12 months now. I am considering going to fair trading or similar organisation to resolve the issue. Any ideas if that would work?
What Service, No Service what so ever just total crap and disregard not only for the vehicle but total disregard for human life, O.S call centre couldn't give a stuff. Can't talk to anyone in Australia MBA diverts all calls to Malaysian worldwide call centre who know sweet FA about anything in or about Australia.
MY C250d got bogged in the grass car park at Rookwood cemetery, after trying to get it out myself I had to call MB road care, they advised the wait time would be 90min to 120min and confirmed this by txt message.
After 90min I called to follow up the progress I was told they would check with the contractor and call me back. No one called back.
After 120min I called back again as no one had arrived to tend to my vehicle and also reported what happened when I called earlier that no one called back as advised. This service operator asked me to wait on the phone while he contacted the contractor to find out why no one had attended by now and came back to me after some time to advise that it was going to be a further 90min to 120min wait at a minimum before someone would attend. I explained to the operator that the cemetery closes and locks the gates at sun set which would be before the 90min mark, the gates would be locked my wife and I would be locked in the cemetery, or we would have to leave the car to be locked in and I was 108km from home and had no way to get there, also that I am a diabetic I had no food with me and required my medication with food at 7:00pm and then another lot of medication later that night and did not have this with me and if I got locked in I would be in serious danger of going into a coma by the morning. He apologised and advised there was nothing he could do. I pleaded with him a second time regarding the situation with being locked in, 108km from home health issues and the consequences with not having food or diabetic medication, once again he apologised advised there was nothing he could do and blamed the entire problem with Allianz the road care provider on behalf of MB.
After sunset we left the cemetery before the gates were closed and locked, had to leave the car there overnight in an unsecure situation, had to walk until we could hale a taxi to stop and drive us home at our own expense of $184.00.
We went back the following morning with a someone we knew that had a 4WD utility with a winch who pulled my car out of the grass parking area.
What am I paying MB road care for? They did not honour or provided any of the items or service that are supposed to be covered by the MB road care policy.
I have 3 vehicles currently under MB road care and I have owned 14 Mercedes Benz vehicle since 1994. I will not only not be renewing MB road care 2 of three vehicles are currently up for replacement now and will certainly not be entertaining purchasing another MB ever after this crap.
Mercedes Benz you have become a world class non caring, no customer care or service JOKE!
Talk about a 'NO SERVICE"!!! Why is Mercedes in Business is beyond me. My car is 6yrs old and under 55,000 kms and transmission goes???? Serviced by Benz since I purchased and told that the transmission shld last the life of car if looked after. Mercedes do not want to know about the car or help me (20yrs with them).... Like Carli & Rob's comment I am waiting to see if they will EVER get my car on the road. Just managed to help 2 people steer away from purchasing Mercedes and will continue to do this......
TERRIBLE: First experience of having a warranty and never again. Car has spent 11 out of 24 months waiting for parts and currently the required part is not available anywhere in the world. No offer to help or provide any compensation/loan vehicle. Having a warranty is not supposed to send your business broke.
Post purchase service is extremely poor. They say they will do things but no follow up. I am having to follow up each week and they jump you through hoops without doing anything. My experience is with Mercedes Canberra
Would like to rate at minus five stars. Bought new AMG mid July 2022. Duel clutch problems. Took to Dealership after 1000kms. After two days they decided to check vehicle. Car still there after two weeks. Communication is a major problem. I don't think i will buy another Merc. Mechanical issues cant be helped but service, product knowledge and COMMUNICATION can be helped. Extremely disappointed.
I bought a car from Merc Castle Hill in NSW. Absolute shit service. I did not get my car cleaned even before i got my car handed over and now no one is taking responsibility to clean it. Shit service and shit cleaning. I big time warn people nit to buy a Merc; especially from Merc Castle Hill. They just don’t care once the car is delivered. I was told they would do it and now they are kind of running away. Absolutely shit snd useless service
I purchased extra service to the value of $7k when I purchased my car, as I do many km and wanted the car covered for the duration of my loan. I have only used 3 services, to be told it expired once my car hit 60,000km. As I've now gone over 60,000 km, my fourth service must be paid for. No one will look into what I purchased or get back to me. How can not even 4 services cost seven thousand dollars extra. Ripped off completely by Mercedes con artists. The dealer said they have referred my issue to Mercedes. What the....
I purchased a brand new Mercedes EQC 400 in June 2021. On the 8th July this year the vehicle stopped. The vehicle was towed to Trinity Mercedes in Cairns and as of today the 15th September which is two and a half months later i still do not have my vehicle. All the excuses and promises have come to nothing. The first two weeks no one worked on my vehicle due to lack of staff, then it was waiting on Mercedes to interpret diagnostics, then they didn't have the right tools to dismantle the batteries now ten weeks we are waiting for parts again that should have been air freighted as a priority.Kerry from head office customer complaints promised to call me back ten days ago and I am still waiting. Despite my patience and constant requests by mercedes to give them a few more days nothing has happened and am left with no choice other than to go to the ombudsmen and also commence legal action. Don't think because you buy a Mercedes you will receive first class service. when my vehicle was due for the first service this was delayed by a month due to Trinity not having an accredited Mercedes E.V. technician and having to wait for the accreditation to come from Germany. This is my fourth mercedes but it will be my last. I have requested a full refund but have had no response. Should report them to the A.C.C.C.C. for breach of contract in terms of my warranty and mercedes not honoring their legal obligations. Am I disappointed an absolute understatement.
It is a case of buyer beware as once they take your money and deliver your new car then you are on your own. Theo Bacalakis EQC 1 Tel: 0488083266 if you want to know more about my experience,
I have a merc ML 500 , 2014 model that has done 60K kms . 5 months ago i had an issue with ignition coil so i took the car to the local merc service centre. It is now 5 months , i am still waiting for the part to arrive from overseas. i keep receiving a new ETA every few weeks. I wonder why it is taking so long.
